Computer Horoscope

Your complete life blueprint — calculated with precision, interpreted with wisdom

A horoscope is not a prediction. It is a map — the most precise and comprehensive map of a human life that any system of knowledge has ever produced. Cast from the exact moment of your birth, at the exact place you entered the world, it captures the position of every planet in the sky at that instant and translates those positions into a picture of your nature, your strengths, your vulnerabilities, your relationships, your financial life, your health, your career, and the broad arc of your destiny across time.

For centuries, this map was drawn by hand — a painstaking process that required hours of calculation, astronomical tables, and deep mathematical knowledge. Today, with the precision of modern software, the same calculations that once took an astrologer an entire day can be produced in seconds — with a level of accuracy that handwritten charts, however carefully done, could rarely match. This is what a computer-generated horoscope offers: the full precision of Vedic astronomical calculation, producing a chart that is the most accurate possible foundation for astrological reading.

At Sri Divyagnana Jyothishya Mandir, Pandit Mohan Rao Guruji provides a comprehensive computer-generated Vedic horoscope — not a generic printed report, but a complete, personally prepared document that combines the precision of modern calculation with his own detailed interpretation and guidance. The result is a document of lasting value — one that you will return to again and again across the course of your life.

How Pandit Mohan Rao Guruji helps you

Complete Vedic birth chart with all divisional charts

Your computer horoscope from Guruji includes the full Rashi chart — your primary birth chart — along with the complete set of Varga charts, or divisional charts, that provide detailed readings of specific life areas. The Navamsha chart for marriage and dharma. The Dashamsha for career and public life. The Saptamsha for children. The Dwadashamsha for parents and ancestral inheritance. Each chart is calculated with full astronomical precision and forms the basis for a reading that covers every significant dimension of your life.

Complete dasha sequence & planetary period timeline

One of the most practically valuable components of the computer horoscope is the complete Vimshottari Dasha sequence — the full timeline of planetary periods that governs the unfolding of your life from birth to the end of your natural lifespan. Knowing which planetary period you are currently in, which sub-period is active within it, and which major periods lie ahead allows you to understand why the present chapter of your life feels the way it does — and to prepare intelligently for what is coming.

Personalised interpretation & life guidance

A computer-generated chart without expert interpretation is a set of numbers and symbols. What transforms it into genuine guidance is the knowledge and experience of the astrologer reading it. Guruji personally interprets your horoscope — identifying the most significant planetary combinations in your chart, the areas of life most strongly supported and most challenged by your planetary configuration, and the key periods ahead that are likely to bring important change, opportunity, or difficulty.

What your computer horoscope contains — and why every detail matters

The foundation of every Vedic horoscope is the Lagna — the ascendant, or the sign rising on the eastern horizon at the exact moment of birth. The Lagna and its lord are the single most important factors in the entire chart — they govern the physical body, the overall life trajectory, the personality, and the lens through which every other planetary influence in the chart is filtered. A chart calculated even a few minutes off from the true birth time can produce a different Lagna entirely, which is why the precision of computer calculation matters so fundamentally. The Lagna changes approximately every two hours — which means that twins born thirty minutes apart can carry meaningfully different charts, and therefore meaningfully different life paths.

Beyond the Lagna, the computer horoscope captures the placement of all nine Vedic planets — Sun, Moon, Mars, Mercury, Jupiter, Venus, Saturn, Rahu, and Ketu — across the twelve houses of the chart. Each planet in each house carries a specific meaning. Each planet aspecting another creates a specific dynamic. Each combination of planets — known as a Yoga — produces a specific result in the life of the native. The number of possible combinations in a single birth chart runs into the thousands, which is why no two horoscopes are identical and why genuine Vedic reading requires both precise calculation and deep interpretive knowledge.

The divisional charts — the Varga charts — add another layer of extraordinary depth and specificity to the reading. While the Rashi chart gives the overall picture of the life, each Varga chart zooms into a specific domain with its own detailed planetary map. The Navamsha, the ninth divisional chart, is considered almost as important as the Rashi chart itself — it reveals the deeper nature of the soul, the quality of marriage and partnership, and the extent to which the natal chart’s promises will actually manifest in lived experience. A planet that appears strong in the Rashi chart but is debilitated in the Navamsha delivers far less than its surface placement suggests. This level of nuance is available only when the full set of divisional charts is calculated and interpreted together.

The Vimshottari Dasha system — the planetary period timeline — is what makes Vedic astrology unique among all systems of astrological knowledge in the world. Unlike Western astrology, which relies primarily on transits to predict timing, Vedic astrology uses a precise sequence of planetary periods, each of a specific duration, that unfolds across the entire lifespan. The sequence begins from the position of the Moon at birth and moves through all nine planets in a fixed order — Sun, Moon, Mars, Rahu, Jupiter, Saturn, Mercury, Ketu, Venus — totalling one hundred and twenty years for the complete cycle. Each major period is subdivided into sub-periods, and each sub-period into further sub-sub-periods, creating a timing system of extraordinary granularity. Knowing your dasha sequence — which period you are in, which is coming next, and what each period is likely to bring based on the condition of the ruling planet in your chart — is among the most practically valuable knowledge a horoscope can provide.

Common Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

Generic online horoscopes — whether based on sun signs or even individually calculated charts — produce automated reports written by software using pre-programmed text combinations. Every person born with the same rising sign and a similar planet placement receives an almost identical report. What Guruji provides is fundamentally different — a personally prepared document in which the computer calculation provides the precise chart data, and Guruji himself provides the interpretation. His reading takes into account the specific combination of all planetary placements in your unique chart, not a generalised description of isolated factors.

Extremely important — and this cannot be overstated. The Lagna, or ascendant, changes approximately every two hours. The Vimshottari Dasha starting point is calculated from the Moon’s precise degree position. Even a difference of fifteen to twenty minutes in the recorded birth time can shift the sub-period timing by weeks or months and alter the interpretation of certain house placements. Guruji always asks for the most accurate birth time available. If the exact time is unknown, he uses a technique called birth time rectification — using known life events to work backward to the most likely accurate birth time — before proceeding with the full reading.

Yes, though with some important caveats. Without a confirmed birth time, the Lagna cannot be determined with certainty, and the divisional charts cannot be relied upon. However, a significant amount of meaningful reading is still possible — the planetary positions in the Rashi chart change far more slowly than the Lagna and can still be read for character, karmic patterns, and broad life themes. Guruji will be honest with you about what can and cannot be determined without the birth time, and will use birth time rectification where possible to arrive at the most accurate chart available.

Yes. Guruji provides a printed horoscope document that includes the full chart diagrams, the complete dasha timeline, the planetary positions table, and his written interpretation and guidance. For clients outside Bangalore who consult remotely, a digital version of the document is provided. The horoscope is prepared as a document of lasting reference — one you can return to at any point in your life, consult during important decisions, and share with Guruji in future consultations as the foundation for updated guidance.

The birth chart itself never changes — it is fixed at the moment of birth. What changes over time are the planetary periods you move through and the transits of planets over your natal positions. Guruji recommends an initial comprehensive horoscope reading, followed by periodic update consultations — typically once a year, or at the onset of a new major dasha period, or when a significant life event or decision is approaching. These update consultations use the original horoscope as their foundation and focus on the current and upcoming planetary conditions in the context of your natal chart.
